The 2 road rarely offers a clean solo victory. What it offers instead is a series of situations where two sides need someone in the middle — a family, a partnership, a team with a fracture in it — and you are unmistakably that someone. Twos often notice, with some frustration, that their best work is invisible: nothing happened, because they were there.
The lesson is not patience, which the 2 already has in excess. It is self-inclusion. The road bends toward relationships, and a 2 who never puts their own want on the table ends up resentful in a life they built entirely around other people's preferences. Naming what you want, out loud, is the whole practice.
