Your complete numerology report
Seven numbers from one name and one date — each calculated in front of you, each linked to its full reading.
A numerology chart is not one number. Your birth date produces the Life Path (the road), the Birthday number (the day itself), and — in the Indian tradition — the Mulank and Bhagyank, the driver and the conductor. Your name produces three more: the Destiny or Expression number from every letter, the Soul Urge from the vowels alone, and the Personality from the consonants.
They answer different questions, and reading them together is the whole point. A Life Path 8 with a Soul Urge 7 is someone whose road runs through money and authority while the thing they privately want is understanding — a tension that explains a great deal, and that neither number shows on its own.
Every number below is shown with its arithmetic. You can check any of them on paper in under a minute, which is how it should be: the calculation is either right or it is a bug, and you should not have to take our word for it.

Reduce day, month and year separately, add the three, reduce again — keeping 11, 22 and 33 intact.

Give each letter its Pythagorean value. All letters give the Destiny number, the vowels alone give the Soul Urge, the consonants alone give the Personality.

The birth day reduced to 1–9 is the Mulank; every digit of the full date reduced to 1–9 is the Bhagyank.
Worked example — born 29 February 1980
Day 29 → 11 (a master number, kept)
Month 2 → 2
Year 1980 → 18 → 9
11 + 2 + 9 = 22 → Life Path 22, a master number
This is the exact date on which the two common methods disagree — summing all the digits at once gives 4. The component method above is the standard, and it is the one this site uses everywhere.
Questions people ask
Which name should I use — birth name or the one I use now?
The tradition uses the full name as recorded at birth for the Destiny number, on the reasoning that it describes what you were given. The name you actually use is read as a modifier. If they differ, calculate both — the difference between them is itself informative.
What if I do not know my exact birth time?
You do not need it. Numerology uses the date only. Birth time matters for a kundali, which is a different system entirely.
Why do some sites give me a different Life Path?
Because there are two methods, and 12% of birth dates give different answers. Summing every digit at once can miss a master number sitting inside a component — a birth in November contributes 11, not 2. This site uses the component method throughout, and shows the working so you can see which one you are looking at.

What is the difference between Destiny and Bhagyank?
They share a translation and not a calculation. The Destiny (Expression) number comes from the letters of your name; the Bhagyank comes from the digits of your birth date. Western numerology calls the first one destiny; Indian numerology calls the second one bhagya.
